After graduating in electrical engineering and communication technology studies in Coblenz, Kai- Uwe Mietzner has been working for Siemens in various business areas and functions since 1994.
He built up a wide range of sales expertise and held various positions in the former communication enterprise business of Siemens as Sales Manager, Sales Coach and Sales Director, until 2001 when he moved to the corporate headquarters in Munich.
In 2007, Kai-Uwe took over the management of Command&Control software business within Siemens Building Technologies including M&A activity. After finishing his work accompanying study of General Management with the degree as Master of Business Administration (MBA) at Steinbeis University Berlin in 2011, Kai-Uwe was responsible for the international Spare Part Business within Siemens Mobility Services for 5 years.
Since 2016, he has been in charge of innovation topics within the Spare Part Services like Additive Manufacturing, e-Business and Obsolescence Management.
Based on a bundle of new services the vison “identified in 10 sec., ordered in 3 min., delivered in 24 hs.” became reality.
In addition to his professional life, Kai-Uwe is working as a university lecturer at Steinbeis University, Berlin.
